On November 18, join nationally renowned Civil War historian, educator, and public speaker Kevin Levin (http://cwmemory.com/) as he enters conversation with Montgomery native Professor Shakita Brooks Jones on Montgomery’s monument landscape. He’ll address the past, present, and future of Confederate memorialization in Alabama’s capitol.

This digital talk is hosted by the Landmarks Foundation of Montgomery, and sponsored by the Auburn University Department of History, the University of Alabama Department of History, Tyler Bell, and Sara Philpott.
