Today at 5:00 pm ET, we will be hosting our first monthly ABB Research Forum for members. This is an informal gathering of scholars, independent researchers, citizen historians, educators, archivists, genealogists, museum specialists, artists, antiracism activists and more, all coming together to discuss best practices in researching and reckoning with New England’s role in the global economy of enslavement. We’ll chat, compare notes, and network. Our special guest this month will be Skip Finley, author of Whaling Captains of Color. If you missed his talk on Thursday you can view it here.
