Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Williams College seeks a Research Associate/Project Coordinator as part of its participation in the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation’s Just Futures Initiative. This is a part-time (~15 hours per week), two and a half-year term, grant-funded role that will support both the research and administrative aspects of the collaborative project. Participating partners are Williams College (including the Williams-Mystic Program), Brown University’s Center for the Study of Slavery and Justice (CSSJ), and Connecticut’s Mystic Seaport Museum (MSM). Titled “Reimagining New England Histories: Historical Injustice, Sovereignty and Freedom,” this Just Futures project aims to tell a different, more complete story of New England and its global connections–past, present, and future.
