Since 2010,The Slave Dwelling Project has been bringing attention to the need to preserve, sustain and interpret slave dwellings throughout the United States. The project started with the simple act of sleeping in slave dwellings and has evolved into a vast program of campfire conversations, living history programs and conferences.
