Join our Logbooks authors and share your own journey of historical recovery
Atlantic Black Box is a grassroots historical recovery project that empowers communities throughout New England to research, reveal, and begin reckoning with the region’s complicity in the slave trade and the global economy of enslavement while recentering the stories of its racially marginalized groups.
We’re inviting all independent researchers, scholars, and citizen historians working to uncover stories related to Northern slavery and complicity as well as historical communities of color in New England to share what they’re learning (and how they’re learning it—i.e., research methods) with our network through our multi-author blog, The Logbooks.
This evening at 5:00 pm, come learn how you can take up a page on The Logbooks section of our site and begin chronicling your own journey of historical recovery.
No registration necessary (JOIN ZOOM HERE). If you can’t make it tonight, let us know you’re interested by emailing info@atlanticblackbox.com and we’ll contact you when we schedule our next onboarding session.
