The Northern Slavery Collective will hold its second annual conference focused on museum education related to enslavement in the North. Experts in the field will share their insights and experiences on how museums can effectively educate the public about the history of enslavement.
The conference will cover a range of topics, including the challenges and opportunities of presenting enslavement in the North, the role of museums in shaping public perceptions of this history, and strategies for engaging diverse audiences in meaningful conversations about this vital topic.
