I have been a high school history teacher for a little over ten years, splitting my time evenly between public and independent schools. I started off teaching at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in Massachusetts, then when my family bounced to Maryland, I worked at the Friends School of Baltimore, where I learned the importance of putting social justice education at the center of my teaching.
